My Rubber Soul

Yes, my soul is rubber.
OK, no it's not. But you might think so as much rubber I own ... and never use.
But, I love the stamps from Rubber Soul. I think I might have one or two of their stamps.. have to look.
Check out their site and you can buy the stamps at Addicted to Rubber Stamps.

I'm also looking into purchasing some Bella stamps. They are really cute and fun.

Tag Maker Tutorial

This is one of the great presents my mom gave me for Christmas. This tag maker is great. You can purchase it at Michaels or online.
Also, you will notice my other present from my husband the easy eyelet punch.. both by Making Memories.eyelet puncher set

The cutting tool, template for different sized tags that are included in kit. I did have a little trouble getting the squares exactly right but a little more practice should do it.

Cut out stamped image with template. Use a healing mat.

Place stamped cut image into tag.

Place tag into tag presser. I had to make sure it was placed in the front and not towards the back of the press. I think it also depends on the size of your tag. If you put it back to far or bring it to the front too far it will bend the tag. Trial and error!

PRESS! :-) Gently

Turn tag over, place in eyelet and Punch!

The green on the witches face, the hair are glow in the dark clays.
The ghost is sparkle clay. Wood base.

Had to get a picture of Deb, my Stampin' Up! demo. Thanks for all your hard work and all the great projects Deb. Posted by Picasa

another pic of the gable boxes I painted. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Gable boxes I painted and embossed letters. My mom tied the ribbon I bought for a dollar a spool at Michaels. I burned the embossing powder to give the boxes a more aged look. Posted by Picasa

An up close of my clay Snowman. With all the glitter reflecting from the cam flash, it's hard to see his face..but it's there. Posted by Picasa

Clay snowmen I made a few years ago. They are sitting on a glass "ice cube" ornament. Posted by Picasa

An old one of Emmy but still cute. Posted by Picasa

I know the next feew things aren't stamp related but I didn't want to start another blog for my other arts. This is a vase thingy I bought at Michaels marked down to $4. It was red and gold and hideous. I sanded it down a tad, added some "pine spruce" scylic paint (it's a little more green in person ), painted black on top and rub some of the black off.It sits in the bathroom now looking very pretty. Posted by Picasa

An oldie, but still a fav. I think he lost a leaf. Posted by Picasa

Sculpeylll scarecrow and crow ( not much of a scarecrow! eh? eh? Apparently I am Candian now. ) Posted by Picasa

bear dressed as Easter bunny. If I ever make another one, I would put the brown ears behind the white ears to make it look as though there is a spot for the bear's ears. This was a very eaerly work, when I was still reading books where the bears all had open mouths. Not sure why they did it that way...other then ease of mouth. Posted by Picasa
